  • 6 oz Evaporated Milk (1/2 can)

  • 3 Eggs

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1/4 Cup Butter

  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

  • 1 TB Maple Syrup

  • 1 TB Evaporated Milk

  • 1/2 Cup Oats

Directions (To Serve Immediately):

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Chop your bread into large squares and place in a large bowl.

Place in a separate bowl: Milk, 6 oz Evaporated Milk, Eggs, Cinnamon and Vanilla. Mix well.Pour the liquid mixture over the top of your bread and carefully mix until the bread pieces are thoroughly soaked.

Grease a 2-quart size pan and pour the bread mixture into it.

In a large bowl, mix remaining topping ingredients thoroughly. Spoon a little bit of the topping mixture over the top of the bread mixture in the pan and spread it evenly. Keeping spooning small portions and spreading it until the entire top is covered.

Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes.

Directions (To Freeze):

Chop your bread into large squares and place in the bottom of a gallon size baggie.

Mix together the rest of the ingredients in a bowl (not the topping ingredients) and pour them into the baggie, over the top of the bread.

Seal the bag and lightly shake it around so the bread soaks up the liquid mixture. Set aside.

For the topping, in a bowl, mix together all the ingredients which will be like extra soggy oatmeal. Place the topping mixture in a separate, small sealable baggie. Place the baggie inside the bag with the bread mixture.

Seal and lay flat in the freezer.

To bake, remove from freezer and place in fridge the night before.

Grease a 2-quart size pan and dump the bread mixture into the bottom. Spread evenly.

Evenly spread the topping mixture over the top, covering as much area as possible.

Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes.
