Hearty Beef Stew

This meal can be cooked and served immediately, OR you can mix all ingredients in a freezer bag to save for later.

Hearty Beef Stew


  • 1.5-2 lb of cubed beef stew meat (Toss the meat in either flour or corn starch)

  • Sliced carrots

  • 1/2 onion, chopped

  • Diced potatoes (2-3)

  • Chopped celery

  • Beef broth

  • 1 Bay leaf

  • Salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, garlic to taste

  • Peas (optional – add during last hour)


Cook on high for about 4 hours, or low for 6-8.

(If you want thicker stew you can add more flour, corn starch, or potato flakes)
